Tayler Leamon’s focuses his practice on receivership, bankruptcy, and insolvency matters. He specializes in the representation of fiduciaries and debtors, as well as all facets of restructuring, corporate dissolutions, and litigation. He advises a wide range of clients in complex disputes across business and federal district courts across Michigan. Tayler represents debtors that are in distressed situations in Chapter 11, including Subchapter V, reorganizations. Additionally, Tayler represents receivers in state and federal court matters.
Tayler brings extensive litigation experience to Stevenson & Bullock, P.L.C. Prior to joining the firm, Tayler worked for several years in commercial property and energy insurance subrogation where he litigated in courts across the country on behalf of insurers, corporations, and individuals in matters involving natural and man-made disasters.
Tayler is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, as well as being admitted to practice and in good standing in the U.S. District Court of the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the respective bankruptcy courts therein. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Tayler obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts in both History and Political Science. Tayler obtained his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School.
