Warren Palmer has vast financial experience in the corporate, government and non-profit world assisting entities in making sound financial decisions. Rooted with a substantial background in forensics and financial analysis, Warren brings a meticulous yet practical approach to all engagements. A Certified Public Accountant, Warren has enjoyed a respected career helping businesses improve profitability and engage in substantive financial analyses. Warren is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants, Forensic and Valuation Services Section and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

For over a decade, he ran private equity investments at a $1.5B multi-national company headquartered in Detroit. He was lead partner in dozens of joint ventures in a wide variety of sectors from developments and operating companies to venture capital opportunities.

Additionally, he was appointed by Mayor Dave Bing to be Director of Detroit’s Planning and Development Department and tasked with providing catalysts for economic growth to cause the strategic, operational and financial transformation of the City of Detroit.

For a national developer, he was senior asset manager of one of the largest senor housing portfolios in the United States with dozens of campuses and several thousand units. In addition to owning his own company which provided financial management services, he has been CFO at companies as varied as non-profits and manufacturing companies. He earned his CPA with KPMG Peat Marwick.

Warren has received a number of professional recognitions as well as leadership roles in his tenured career, including U.S. Army recognition for structuring a financial aid program to assist in the economic reconstruction an economically distressed province in Afghanistan and the Crown Government of Canada recognition for role as Emergency Administrator in leading the successful economic restructuring of a financially distressed First Nation tribe. Warren has also held numerous board positions in various financial leadership organizations, including serving as the Chairman of the Board at the Detroit Economic Development Commission, Detroit Neighborhood Development Commission, Director of the Detroit Land Bank Authority, and Treasurer of the Detroit Economic Growth Association.
