Widely respected as a Receiver and Discovery Master, Ms. Mullin is known for her pragmatic, solution-oriented approach. She specializes in stabilizing distressed assets and navigating the intricate regulatory landscapes of complex real estate matters, including the evolving cannabis industry. Her ability to deconstruct financial complexities stems from her background in accounting—having passed the CPA exam—allowing her to provide a level of fiscal oversight that few legal practitioners can match.
Beyond the courtroom, Ms. Mullin has a proven track record of executive leadership in high-pressure environments. She served as Chief of Staff for a national developer during the COVID-19 pandemic, overseeing operations for 10,000 employees across five states. Her commitment to community and equity is further evidenced by her tenure as Chief Strategy Officer for Beyond Basics, where she secured major state appropriations to expand literacy and educational equity across Michigan.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Ms. Mullin’s leadership style is defined by the discipline and service that earned her two Army Commendation Medals and two Army Achievement Medals. Ms. Mullin is a member of the State Bar of Michigan having obtained her undergraduate degree from the Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Ms. Mullin obtained her Juris Doctorate from University of Detroit Mercy Law School.
